DIAGNOSED ADHD, MOTHER OF ADHD DAUGHTER, SISTER TO ADHD BROTHERS

Kate is a qualified Wellbeing and Lifestyle coach, as well as a trained and an accredited practitioner in Emotional Freedom Technique, otherwise known as tapping.

At the age of 40, Kate was diagnosed with combined ADHD alongside her then 9-year-old daughter. This was no great surprise to her as Kate had grown up with ADHD in her family when both her brothers were both diagnosed with ADHD over 35 years ago! Somewhat typically Kate, as the quiet and non-disruptive girl, had been overlooked.

Kate specialises in helping women who have had late-in-life diagnoses and works with ADHD clients from all over the world to find more self-acceptance, clarity, self-compassion, validation and empathy towards themselves, their past and current situation.

By using EFT alongside her coaching, Kate enables her clients to have fast and effective shifts in perspective and quickly recognise the roots and conditionings that may have been with them since childhood. EFT can be highly transformative in shifting old beliefs, stories and self-talk, helping people find more inner-peace and calm.

Kate also specialises in helping clients who have undergone trauma find self-compassion, wellbeing and positive ways of moving forward.

Kate has worked with clients who have issues with binge eating, low self-esteem, overwhelm, anxiety, anger, childhood trauma, relationship issues, chronic pain and changing career paths.

Kate’s passion lies in empowering, inspiring and guiding her clients to find more emotional freedom so they can leave behind their past traumas, resentment, anger and sadness and move towards forgiveness, acceptance and hope for the future.

Kate believes that by using the EFT tapping alongside her coaching, she can help peel back the many layers of repressed emotions and feelings, which keep us stuck in a cycle of self-sabotage or procrastination.

Very often Kate’s clients feel emotionally lighter – their perspective shifts quite dramatically and they see their situation or issues with clarity and positivity.

Kate often uses her tapping skills on herself and her children to reduce anxiety– something she is keen to teach other parents with ADHD children.

Kate has over 14 years of consumer PR experience, as well as building up her own brand, social media following and successful podcast. Kate is also passionate at helping clients with their new business development, offering marketing and PR advice, as well as being a creative soundboard for new entrepreneurs and startups.

Kate uses her wellbeing and intuitive coaching skills to help strike a balance between self care, boundaries and burnout – something many new ADHD business owners suffer from during the early stages of building their businesses.

Kate helps to show clients how to implement strategies to ensure they are using the right amount of energy to see progress, while safeguarding their emotional wellbeing.

Kate is also very happy to help parents of ADHD children needing support.
