Jason is a qualified and experienced personal development, workplace strategy and career transition coach, with a proven ability to facilitate effective change and develop personal resilience. He is passionate about helping clients realise their true potential and feel most fulfilled when they have that ‘lightbulb’ moment.
Through working extensively with ADHD clients, Jason only realised later in life that he had many of the traits associated with ADHD himself. He had his own ‘lightbulb’ moment when he suddenly recognised that he simply does things very differently to the way everybody else does! This was the moment when everything started to make sense to him.
The realisation that he had ADHD explained why he struggled so much at school – it wasn’t down to a lack of intellect but more that he struggled to engage with the linear way the education system works. Every school report would say “could do better if only he wasn’t so lazy”, but he wasn’t being lazy. If anything, he had always tried to work harder but it was simply that he struggled to engage, and his mind would constantly wander onto other, more exciting things.
After leaving school he tried many different jobs, only really enjoying the ones that gave him a sense of excitement and that much-needed dopamine hit. It wasn’t until he began training and working as a coach that he realised his potential and could begin to capitalise on his strengths of empathy, thinking outside the box and the ability to develop strong rapport with his clients. This awareness also enables him to empathise with clients’ struggles around organisation, time management, concentration and motivation.
Jason has been providing neurodivergent workplace strategy and career transition coaching for over 10 years. He has a wealth of experience in supporting clients, encouraging opportunities to be fully explored, identifying barriers that may be holding them back, developing self awareness of strengths and empowering clients to think outside the box.
This helps clients to generate new effective strategies which enables progress within their work and personal life. His in-depth knowledge, coaching ability and practical experience delivers a real understanding of how to maximise personal opportunities and improve personal wellbeing.
