PROFILE

Ben is a caring, friendly coach with a lighthearted, curious and sincere style. He helps his clients map out how their brain works, get a handle on what is important to them, and figure out how to make real lasting change in their lives. He then guides them to build practical habits and routines that fit their day-to-day reality, helping them move away from constant survival-mode and towards a clear sense of identity and purpose.

Ben’s approach is built on over 15 years of doing the work himself. He lived for 40 years with undiagnosed AuDHD and witnessed childhood abuse up to the age of 12. Because of this, he knows first-hand exactly how exhausting it is to mask just to fit into a world that isn’t built for you. Having got his own life back on track, his focus is straightforward: to help others connect with their sense of self and to build full and meaningful lives.

His coaching is a practical, creative process designed to break the cycle of burnout and survival-mode coping mechanisms. He helps clients establish self-trust and create life structures that actually support them.

Calming the Nervous System: Using straightforward, sensory-based tools that work for neurodivergent brains, Ben helps clients drop out of the constant ‘fight-or-flight’ panic that causes impulsive choices and task paralysis.

Practical Behaviour Change: As a coach specialising in neurodivergent brains, Ben skips the generic self-help advice. He helps you untangle the mental blocks keeping you stuck, access your own inner solutions and take real action.

Workplace & Business Recovery: Having co-founded an international award-winning brand, Ben understands the pressure-cooker of running a business or holding down a demanding career. He knows exactly what burnout looks like, and what happens when standard organisational systems fail an ADHD brain.

Self-Realisation & Resilience: Ben has been teaching meditation and personal development since 2010. He started as a yoga teacher and now supports people through deep personal transformations on retreats. Being capable of supporting people through some of the deepest personal experiences and crises in their lives is the real backbone to his work.

Whether you are dealing with a new ADHD diagnosis, a life crisis or you simply feel that something in your life needs to change, Ben is a coach who is able to step right into the chaos with you and help you navigate your way out.

The number one thing Ben helped me to achieve was a reconnection with my children. As a father it’s hard to think of anything more important in life. My favourite a-ha moment when working with Ben was realising how I could be creating boundaries and transitions between the different roles I play in life, which has allowed me to be more present in each role.

I also experienced the value of acknowledging life ‘as it is right now’ as a fundamental basis/requirement for authentic intentional progress.

From ‘landing’ in the present I have been able to bring more curiosity and playfulness into my creative process – which is deeply satisfying. I had become accustomed to ‘hotwiring’ my creative process.

Ben’s way of working is unpressured and freeing. We went at my pace, not his and there were no hidden agendas about getting ‘results’. It was more about guiding me to become aware of deeper fundamental processes and then enabling me to update and improve upon them.

One additional a-ha moment was noticing the difference between saying ‘and’ instead of ‘but’. It encourages integration rather than a binary approach to the reflection of experience.

I reached out to Ben as I was desperate to feel energised about life again. Since meeting with Ben I have noticed a significant shift to my inner dialogue along with a rejuvenated optimism, focus and drive. This is a huge deal for me.

The biggest improvements are the curiosity I now afford my thoughts and the power of intention. This has allowed me to deepen my understanding of my real goals and question myself honestly which is a completely new feeling that I’m still exploring personally. Through this I’ve been able to  remove some unnecessary baggage and put energy into the correct places. I’m already feeling calmer and more in control as well as a more present dad which was one of my main goals.

I have long been told ‘be kind to yourself’ and while that made sense I actually didn’t know how to do that or what it truly meant until working with Ben. I’d say the most effective exercise that helped me connect to my thoughts was to ‘interview my troll’. I found this very funny and went away and learned a lot about what my blocks were. This new curious approach has been a complete game-changer that positively affects almost every aspect of how I now process thoughts and information.I now feel more connected to what matters and, through other exercises, feel like I have the tools to achieve it.

There have been many many great analogies and dots that Ben has helped me connect but one particular moment was in our first session when we did a visualisation exercise and it became apparent to me I hadn’t clearly defined my goals, which was a surprise to me as I had naturally felt like I was on a path and it was external things that held me back.

This realisation was a huge help in understanding why I didn’t feel in control or sense of achievement. From this exercise I was/am now aware of the importance of decluttering and defining goals which has helped me get back on track, feel more in control and strangely lighter as I was able to cut through some BS goals I didn’t really care about. This has brought excitement and hope to the future but also allowed me to review things I had already achieved and forgot to appreciate.

I find the sessions so light and breezy, probably due to how Ben uses his gift of humour to help me relax and get into it. Our sessions are a highlight of my week. I always have at least a handful of ‘oh yeah’ moments, some mind expanding concepts and I always leave with energy, focus and new techniques to try. Ben’s methods have ignited connections that other practitioners were unable to and I wholeheartedly recommend you chat to him.

I have worked as a Counsellor for many years and have had counselling myself at various points in my life. I have no hesitation in recommending Ben if you are looking to move forward in your life.

I was searching for a therapist who had experience of ADHD. I found Ben via the Headstuff ADHD Therapy website. As soon as I made contact with Ben I knew I had made the right decision and felt a real connection with him.

Since working together I have become more self aware, feeling more confident in dealing with challenges. Recognising my significant strengths and life experience. Ben has enabled me to see life’s challenges as opportunities for growth rather than problems.

I have been able to recognise the importance of addressing my own needs and learning to say no. I realised that I have lived my life putting the needs of others before my own. This realisation has been life changing for me.

I have been surprised how after a lifetime of struggling how much I have grown in just a few sessions with Ben. I have felt empowered by our sessions and have been able to apply the insights to my life between sessions.

Ben has a unique way of working enabling you to recognise and tap into your inner strengths and talents. Some of our most productive sessions have been when I’ve not had an agenda and worked with my feelings in the moment.

I have found that confidence is everything in living with ADHD. I can read books and self help guides all day long, but if I don’t feel confident in what I am learning or reading (classic ADHD) then it doesn’t ever quite stay with me. Ben was the bridge for me between thinking I knew how to live with and thrive with ADHD and actually doing so in a way that sticks.

Ben is engaging, patient, encouraging and was the final piece in the puzzle for me to being ok with who I am and what my limitations are. It does take daily practice and the road isn’t always smooth, but coaching does firmly point you in the right direction.

For anyone thinking about coaching I would definitely say go for it- even if it’s just to feel confident that you do actually know yourself and it’s ok that you have ADHD.

The work we have done has grounded me so much that I feel confident continuing on my path in self-employment, rather than ‘giving up’ to move back into employment. Grounding and porous boundaries were the biggest issues that came up. These things were affecting every part of my life.

Ben challenged my thoughts in a way that I now have lots of different angles to look from, and his use of visualisation and meditation really reinforced the goals we have established for me moving forward.

When I started with Ben I was looking for help specifically with my business and how I could implement strategies to help. I chose Ben due to his background in yoga as I thought we would vibe. I was right.

I think, even though I was looking for logistical help, I was drawn to Ben for the help he has given me in every aspect of life.

He has been very adaptable, helping me through difficult emotional situations, when work was the last thing on my mind, and I think that the work we have done has grounded me so much that I feel confident continuing on my path in self-employment, rather than ‘giving up’ to move back into employment.

If you want a holistic approach to your specific struggles, knowing that every aspect of life is interconnected, whether we want it to be or not, Ben is the right person for you!

Ben’s knowledge of neurodivergence, and how certain struggles can be explained from a neurological standpoint, really helps to understand and put in place strategies to overcome our challenges.

Where I was when I started – doing too much and not getting anywhere, with shiny object syndrome, ignoring the toxic relationship that was reinforcing the porous, people pleasing nature of my boundaries in every aspect of life.

Where I am now – Happily saying ‘no’ to my loved ones when their expectations/demands are unreasonable in relation to who I am and what I stand for.

I have broken the chain and am aware of many other patterns that I will continue to interrupt to ensure I am living primarily for myself.

Ben is simply excellent!! Having been there (with ADHD) he has an empathy and way about him that gives him total credibility. I was made to feel instantly at ease, and in no time at all I realised that there is nothing fundamentally wrong with me.

I feel more energised and focused on me as a person, and not getting bogged down with constantly worrying what other people thought of me. Ben will make you believe more in yourself whilst helping you realise your worth to others. I 100% recommend Ben to anyone.

My sessions with Ben have really helped me get through a long phase of low mood and overwhelm. Ben has helped me manage my symptoms of ADHD
I feel like I have a new perspective of my life and have learnt ways of dealing with my issues related to ADHD such as making changes to my environment and planning ahead.

I have moved through a period of burnout due to stress and overwhelm and have taken action. I have also learnt to appreciate what I have and what I have achieved, making me feel more positive about the future.

Ben was surprisingly sensitive and fun, I enjoyed the activities that were creative which helped me envision things in the way my brain understands.
I have been able to make big decisions and take action with my work/life balance.

Thanks Ben 😌

Thank you Ben. I reached out to Ben earlier this year due to struggling with my newly diagnosed ADHD. I was diagnosed at 23, I am now 26. My struggles have been constant throughout my whole life & I never truly understood why.

I then met Ben, who has helped me understand more about ADHD and how it affects me personally. Ben has helped me in ways which I can’t thank him enough for, he has been brilliant from the moment I met him. He is so understanding & patient, he has helped me to understand myself in a way in which I never even understood myself before.

Thanks to Ben my life is going in a much better direction. I am so much happier & more focused on my goals. I continue to practise every frame work Ben has given me, I use them on a daily basis to help me.

I strongly recommend reaching out to Ben if you are struggling, and I am sure he will help you just like he has helped me.
I cannot thank Ben enough !

Renewed sense of purpose. Ben managed to somehow take a huge overview of everything that needed changing, without judgment. Then through a calm process of conversation and supportive direction ignite a sense of newness and energy.

His guidance from bumpier times into an optimistic future is something I will forever be grateful for. Some things in life truly are priceless and what Ben offers is one of them.

After years of suffering and a new diagnosis of ADHD at the age of 53, I did not know where to go. I then came across Ben. I did not think that therapy and talking would help but how wrong I was!

From our first meeting, Ben had this way of making me feel at ease, able to open up to things that had affected me all my life. His way of helping and explaining is brilliant, as he doesn’t ‘fix’ but makes me think about the situation and develop ways of coping and dealing with it. It can be hard as Ben will ask searching questions but it is so rewarding.

Ben never judges and has a way to make me feel that I matter.I would definitely recommend to anyone as he has been a great help to me – Thank you Ben.

Ben’s sessions were an absolute game changer. I found Ben after months of searching for a coach who understood ADHD and the way it works in counselling. I had had various CBT counselling sessions and never found they worked.

Right from the start, Ben took the time to listen to my previous experiences and got me. Each session felt useful and I came away with new tools to be able to move forward on my journey of figuring out how to ‘rewire’ my brain that I had felt was working against me for so long!

When I first started talking with Ben, I was in an extremely low/dark place, but with his help and lifestyle changes, I am 100 times better and feel I understand my different way of thinking and have been given various coping mechanisms/strategies to use moving forward.

I would highly recommend Ben to anyone.
