Bucks & Beyond Adult ADHD Support Group – Suzanne Hodges-Best, a Bucks ADHD Infant & Junior School Headteacher

At the Bucks & Beyond Adult ADHD Support Group we had the privilege of hearing from Suzanne Hodges-Best, a Bucks ADHD Infant & Junior School Headteacher – ADHD herself with two ADHD sons in mainstream school.

Suzanne shares her wealth of knowledge and firsthand experiences to equip parents, grandparents, educators and advocates with the best ways she knows of supporting ADHD children in schools.

Including ~

* How to represent your child to make their school experience enjoyable with the right management and support

* Recognising and addressing the unique needs of ADHD students – what you can do at home to help them at school

* EHCP’s – why they might not be necessary and how to get them if they are

* Empowering ADHD children to reach their full potential academically and personally

Suzanne’s perspective as a Headteacher and a parent of ADHD junior and senior school-age sons provides a unique insight into the challenges and opportunities in advocating for ADHD children.

Suzanne’s talk kicks off our 2024 mission to help teachers understand ADHD kids by making sure each school in the UK has a copy of this book by the end of the year. You can either buy it yourself, donate a copy to a school or ask us to donate a copy to a school that we know doesn’t have one yet!

To make sure this happens we have reduced the book by 50% and it is now just £11.50. Till EVERY school has at least one copy in their school library.

The book is written by ADHD Advocate Sarah Templeton –
