PROFILE
Emma was diagnosed with ADHD in 2022 after years of struggling without the right diagnosis. That moment gave her the clarity to better understand herself and her children, who are also neurodiverse. It hasn’t been an easy path. She has navigated the EHCP system, challenged unfair labels, and fought for support. Those experiences shaped her into the counsellor, coach and advocate she is today.
Growing up, Emma faced academic struggles, social isolation and misdiagnosis. Later came challenges with eating disorders, loved ones’ addictions and her own mental health. She found balance through exercise, recovery communities and therapy. Those experiences taught her resilience, empathy and the importance of real human connection.
Today, Emma works with people of all ages with ADHD, addiction recovery, eating disorders, anxiety, and the challenges of daily life. Her approach blends counselling and coaching. She brings lived experience alongside professional training to offer practical tools, creative strategies and a non-judgemental, warm and kind therapeutic style.
She loves supporting clients with ADHD pre- or post-diagnosis. Exploring impulsivity, emotional regulation, executive functioning and building strategies that work in real life.
Emma has lived and professional experience in addiction work, recognising the highs and lows of recovery. Her focus is on rebuilding self-identity, restoring hope and helping with choosing and maintaining healthier choices.
Emma offers support informed by lived experience, particularly where eating struggles link with ADHD or other neurodiverse traits. These challenges are often tied to sensory needs, emotional regulation or impulsivity. Her work is coaching-based, practical, and strategy-focused. It is not an alternative to medical treatment, but an additional space to explore and build healthier routines.
For young people Emma is passionate about educating clients about their own ADHD, understanding co-occurring conditions, and navigating the risks of addictive behaviours. Sessions focus on building resilience, awareness and strategies to manage challenges in a way that feels empowering and relatable.
Emma works with parents to better support their neurodiverse children while also finding their own identity outside of the caring role. Many feel lost in the system or drained from fighting for support. Emma focuses on clarity, confidence and practical tools so parents can feel stronger and supported.
Based on her therapeutic care farm, Emma offers outdoor sessions as an alternative to sitting in a room. Sometimes this means walking across the fields, other times sitting quietly with the animals. Nature can provide space to breathe, regulate and talk openly. Particularly popular with young people who would rather be outside and not stuck in a room.
Emma can support self-employed and neurodivergent business owners with both the emotional and practical sides of running a business. This can include tackling limiting beliefs, organising day-to-day tasks or developing strategies that play to individual strengths. She also works with clients seeking to grow personally or professionally, helping them build confidence, focus and balance in their lives and careers.
Emma meets people where they are now. It is not about changing how someone sees the world, but about recognising and embracing how they see the world as an individual.
Emma is a mum of three neurodiverse children, balancing family life, farm life, and a house full of animals. She understands the reality of juggling everything and how lonely it can sometimes feel. Her support is always grounded in empathy, honesty and practicality.
