PROFILE

Natalie lives within a full ADHD household!  She has two teenage sons who are both diagnosed ADHD, her husband is ADHD and she is currently awaiting her own diagnosis for ADHD and dyslexia.

Like so many other women, Natalie has spent almost her entire life undiagnosed and unaware that she had ADHD. She only realised when her youngest son was going through assessment, and she started to question whether this might be the reason that she had always felt a little out of step with the rest of the world.

Having two sons with ADHD can be a real challenge, but this is further complicated by the fact that her sons have different types of ADHD, meaning they behave and interact with the world in completely different ways.  So Natalie is becoming adept at parenting both combined and Inattentive ADHD children and is keen to help parents of either type.

Parenting is often a complex balancing act to ensure that both children feel valued, heard and have a sense of fairness within the household. Whilst making different adjustments for each ones ADHD needs.  It also leads to friction between the two of them as they both approach life so differently, but through lots of support and encouragement they are learning to understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses.

Natalie’s own parenting experience has made her truly passionate about working with parents of ADHD kids, she understands the impact of empowering parents with knowledge, understanding and strategies.

Natalie has spent most of her adult life involved in working with children and young people.  She is an ex-primary school teacher and although she loved teaching, she found the education system very frustrating.  Particularly, regarding the lack of SEN provision and the lack of knowledge, understanding and training that school staff are given regarding neurodiversity.

The experience has made Natalie a passionate advocate for ADHD children getting the support they need in schools early on.  She knows from experience the effect that the correct support can have on a child’s learning and self-esteem.

Natalie has worked in coaching for over 25 years in a range of different roles and environments including working for the DWP and as a Team England sports coach.  She decided to return to university as a mature student to further explore coaching and studied at Cambridge University for a Diploma in Coaching.  It was only natural that she would combine her passion for better understanding of ADHD with her love of coaching and helping people.

In almost all the different roles she’s had she has always drawn to working with teenagers and young people.  So, it’s no surprise that one of her favourite groups of ADHD clients to work with is teenagers.  She loves helping teens to understand themselves and their own identity, build on self-esteem, understand their unique strengths and skills, and help them learn ways to advocate for themselves in all situations.

Natalie also loves working with couples in a coaching setting. She helps each partner to recognise and understand the role that ADHD can be playing in their relationship and helps support both partners to better understand each other, communicate more effectively and navigate the difficulties that managing ADHD can bring to relationships.

Natalie genuinely believes in the transformative effect ADHD coaching has on people’s lives and works hard to ensure that each client gets a personalised coaching experience that meets their individual needs.

See what Natalies’s previous clients have said …

I couldn’t recommend ADHD coaching enough, it has really helped me gain control over my life which was a bit chaotic!

My coach Natalie was the best and gave me things to work on before seeing her again.

We spoke through areas in my life that needed work, things that worked well and what to do to control other areas better.

I would definitely recommend ADHD coaching, especially those with a new diagnosis.

Natalie has been an incredibly supportive and insightful mentor. She has helped me navigate a range of challenges, particularly around ADHD, self-worth, and learning to approach situations from a different perspective.

Her guidance on medication, especially around dosage and adjusting to it, has been both practical and reassuring during what can be a difficult process.

One piece of advice that has really stayed with me is her simple but effective suggestion to “just do 20 minutes”. That mindset shift made a real difference in helping me overcome procrastination and build better working habits. It’s a great example of how Natalie makes things feel manageable and achievable.

She has also been very helpful in guiding me on what to look for in a career, encouraging me to think more clearly about what suits me and how I can move forward in a way that feels right.

On top of all this, Natalie is a genuinely lovely person. I always look forward to our chats, they are not only helpful, but also uplifting and encouraging.

I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for thoughtful, practical, and compassionate support.

I thought ADHD coaching would be just specific techniques to deal with a wandering mind, dysregulation and procrastination etc.

What I’ve actually achieved with the help of Natalie was better understanding of myself, my brain, traits that apply and coping strategies to manage my ADHD.

I think my biggest take away is learning to be kind to myself and stopping that negative conversation in my head about not being good enough.

Prior to coaching I had about 20% confidence in myself being able to achieve my future goals, now after working with Natalie it’s more like 80% so it’s helped massively!

Natalie is a great coach, she’s always positive and encouraging.

I like her direct manner and she knows an awful lot about neurodivergence, business, education, sports, relationships, children and work environments.

I always feel accepted and understood by her. Nothing seems to phase her and she creates a sense of having a safe and supportive space in her sessions.

I have used our time in many different ways and always come away feeling more confident, capable and motivated.
