PROFILE
Aimee worked for the Worcester Adult ADHD Specialist NHS Service from 2020 to 2024 when it was closed – due to an extensive waiting list. Yes. We know. You couldn’t make it up!
During this time Aimee assessed and diagnosed ADHD in adults as well as designed and delivered award nominated CBT Group Therapy.
It was also during this time Aimee was diagnosed with combined type ADHD herself and as a result was able to provide tailored professional and experiential intervention to a higher standard than when she was a general therapist.
She learned that lived experience really does offer an extra level of understanding and compassion to clients.
Aimee has assessed many clients from all walks of life and age groups in the last five years both within the NHS and privately and works closely with psychiatrists in England and Northern Ireland.
She has assessed clients in prison and provided impact reports for court hearings.
As a trauma informed therapist she is skilled in a trans diagnostic approach and understands the co-morbidities that occur with ADHD.
Her assessment style is professional yet relaxed. Aimee mainly works online but has a therapy room where she is based in Hereford if this is needed by clients preferring a face-to-face assessment.
Aimee standardly offers a 10 minute break during the assessment which usually lasts around 2 hours but this is flexible. On occasion an extra hour appointment may be required. This is all included in the one price.
The Assessment/Diagnostic report is provided within 6 weeks maximum.
Aimee is passionate about clients receiving the right diagnosis and enjoys helping people gain clarity into their lives.
