PROFILE

Michelle is a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming coach and brings a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those living with ADHD. She is passionate about supporting people to regain control, balance and self-worth in their lives.

Having worked directly with people across a range of complex settings, Michelle has a strong focus on helping you build self-compassion and insight into actions and motivations. She supports clients to explore their own definition of success, free from judgment or external expectations, and to take meaningful steps toward change.

Michelle’s coaching is shaped by both her professional background and personal experiences. She has navigated chronic health conditions, cared for a partner with long-term illness, and raised two sons – balancing family life with a demanding career. After experiencing burnout, Michelle made the decision to retrain as a coach and now channels her energy into helping others overcome overwhelm and rediscover their personal power.

Her style is warm, friendly, and gently curious. Clients often describe her as someone who brings both safety and challenge to their sessions, guiding them with empathy, asking the right questions, and cheering them on as they grow in confidence.

Additionally, Michelle has worked as a Special Education Needs teaching assistant within a primary school and has, more recently, served as a Governor at a high school.  Her coaching practice is grounded in real life; offering down-to-earth support for people navigating complex systems and personal challenges.

With over 25 years of experience working within the Prison and Probation Services Michelle also specialises in working with anyone affected by the criminal justice system, and navigating life with ADHD. Her approach is intuitive, therapeutic, and rooted in compassion. She works collaboratively with clients to help them better understand their thoughts, behaviours, and emotional patterns, supporting them to develop sustainable tools and strategies that work with their brains, not against them.

Knowing the criminal justice system as well as she does, Michelle is happy to support parents, partners and children as well as those involved in the CJS.

Michelle offers coaching both online and face-to-face, including in-person sessions within a 10-mile radius of Stoke-on-Trent. Michelle also provides outdoor coaching for those who feel more comfortable in natural environments, always aiming to adapt her sessions to suit the individual needs and comfort of each client.
