LOCATION ~ HR6

Andrew has been with Headstuff from the very beginning when it was just him and Sarah! He has been instrumental in helping the business grow and has become very adept at helping ADHD clients with ‘all the boring paperwork stuff’ they really don’t like.

Luckily, for his job, Andrew isn’t ADHD but having known Sarah for over 30 years and worked with her in previous businesses, he has a real understanding of how to work with and support ADHD people.

Andrew started out life at a very good grammar school, getting A-levels and then going to university to study logistics. He got his degree from Aston University, Birmingham, and then began his career in supply chain management.

Andrew has worked in the manufacturing, marketing, pharmaceuticals, recruitment, online retail and domiciliary care industries developing a substantial background in business management, regulatory requirements and ‘people skills’.

Andrew’s strength lies in his superlative understanding of official forms! He has a very calm and logical mind and can tackle paperwork that often overwhelms ADHD people.

As Headstuff has grown Andrew has grown with it. And that’s not just his waistline! He has learnt to understand all the DWP requirements when it comes to Access to Work applications and people setting up in business and needing business plans and financial forecasts.

He very much enjoys helping people at the very beginning of their application process, ensuring they understand all the elements of the scheme they might be eligible for.

The application process can take several months and Andrew will happily support clients every step of the way.

When awards are made by the DWP, Andrew again can help with the necessary claim paperwork and if support workers have been awarded, his team can help with the recruitment of that support.

Andrew is incredibly patient, has a very kind and understanding nature and really understands the challenges that having ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia and numerous of the other comorbidities can bring.

Andrew has helped literally hundreds of ADHD clients claim the help they are eligible for and gets real satisfaction from seeing people who have struggled for so many years, finally get the support they have been entitled to all along.
